About PFL

What does PFL Consulting do?

PFL Consulting provides personal finance education and one-on-one strategy sessions. We help you build a budget, understand your credit, make a debt payoff plan, build an emergency fund and learn how retirement accounts work, then leave you with a written roadmap.

Who is PFL Consulting for?

Mostly people in their 20s and 30s: service-industry workers like servers, bartenders and stylists, young professionals, military members and veterans, small business owners and growing families.

Do you sell investments or insurance?

No. PFL does not sell investments, insurance or financial products and earns no commissions. Our work is education and planning, not individualized investment advice.

Do you work with clients outside Charleston, SC?

Yes. PFL is based in Charleston, South Carolina, and meets with clients virtually anywhere in the United States.

Do you offer workshops for employers or groups?

Yes. Financial Foundations Live brings financial literacy workshops to employers, schools and community groups, in person or virtual, covering budgeting, credit, debt and investing basics. Workshops start at $1,799.
